Comparative Structures: optical description of a mediated reality is an interdisciplinary project with a multimedia component, being a result of individual research as well a team work of scientists (ophthalmologists, geneticists, physicists).
The project involves two directions of analysis that use information from the visible light spectrum obtained by optical systems (assisted by computerized systems), which not overstate the recorded reality. Two perspectives are reveals on the technologically mediated reality that produce a specialized image with a strong aesthetic and cultural content. The scientific image is transferred to the environment perception and is reshaped in artistic practice.
The project is work in progress.
