Formal, biological identity can be monitored within a system governed by the principles of informatic intelligence. The limits the control process are inherent to any data base, as scanning of individual’s identity keeps an efficient validity on social level, yet it proves incomplete on human level. The project was made in the period when the bio-metric identity documents were introduced in Romania. The public relates to a social reality inside developed societies. The limited use of technology functions as a filter of in fact inaccessible technology, due to security protocol. Without being interactive the works are meant to recreate a real social situation in which the individual is an instrument of technology and not the other way around. It reflects a forced interaction by government policy and at the same time a lack of optional/intended interactivity.
The project was presented on November 2010 at Sanaa Building, Zeche Zollverein, Essen, Germany.
